Introduction

Exercise

This project required us to processed design framework, produce an infographic report to present the given information to a target audience.

Our group chosen "What is the Science Behind Luck?" as our topic. Firstly, we start our project with watching video and example: https://youtu.be/3NHSmOcX6wU?si=DP9ZYC5ViybZbFk9

Next, we start to finding research about the topic. For my part, i will need to research on how could we increase luck while playing game.

After consult, sir had mentioned that we need to stay simple as possible to let target audience understand what is the important points, so we decided to simplify our data analysis, and make it a more fun way to tell the story.

Here is the FLIP Presentation Slide:

Our art direction takes inspiration from the popular cartoon Dumb Ways to Die, known for its simple yet expressive characters and vibrant colors.

Here is the first draft of our main character. Our other characters are built using basic 2D shapes—circles, ovals, and rectangles. This minimalistic approach keeps designs clean while allowing for fun expressions and unique personalities.

By keeping movements fluid and exaggerated, we bring charm and humor to our characters. This ensures that even with simple designs, the animation remains dynamic and entertaining.

We’re using a vibrant color palette to keep the visuals lively and engaging. Just like Dumb Ways to Die, the bright hues help create contrast and make characters stand out.

Lastly, we draw out our storyboard and script:

Reflection

Through this process, I learned the importance of balancing information with design to create an impactful presentation. Simplifying complex data while keeping the content visually engaging is a challenge, but by focusing on storytelling and creative visuals, we made our presentation more effective and enjoyable for our audience.
