INTRODUCTION

LECTURERS 

Week 1

Sir giving us examples and video for briefing assignment. We will need to learn how to:

1.Pre-production

2.Production

3.Post-production

Week 2

Wide shot

Include the background and important subjects.

Medium Shot

Shows the subject , to understand their expression, lower half of her/his body shows in the frame.

Medium Close-up Shot

Subject character from midway between waist and shoulders to above the head.

Over the Shoulder Shot

Point of views. The subject from behind the shoulder from other person.

Extreme Wide Shot

Shows a broad view of the surroundings, geographical location. Used to show where character is in which environment.

Medium Wide Shot

The frame shows character cut off across the leg above or below the knees. to shows the action and taking place to have balanced between.

Close-up Shot

To close-up the most important part of subject. Generally the head or small subject, to emphasises facial expression, details of subject.

Extreme Close-up Shot

The object is to focus on important detail to increase the drama or impact on a situation.

Camera Angle

Eye-level Angle

The level height from the subject's eyes.

High Angle

Subject looks smaller, younger, confused.

Low Angle

Subject looks taller, stronger, give expression of the subject.

Dynamic Screen Direction

Subject motion: Person walking, car driving, plane flying. Move in the same direction to shows progression.

Static Screen Direction

The line of direction. Two of the character in the frame will only have 180 degree of shot.

Week 3 

Story Structure

Act 1 / BEGINNING

-Introduce the word, main characters and establish the dramatic situation.

-An incident that complicate the story.

Act 2 / CONFRONTATION

-To develop/ obstacle complications and leads to climax of the story.

Act 3 / END

-Ending of climax and answer to all obstacle. 

Week 4

This week, we went to studio for exercise with sir, we had been teach to use sound record, lightning, and also film.

Week 5

Continue from last week, we will need to film a short video with ourself. 

Week 6

Colour correction

We will need to use adobe audition

Week 1

For first week, sir had brief us how to use premiere pro and how to insert the clip into the video.
